LIGHT'S REFLECTIONS

I lived life full of fun and laughter

Hoping that if there is an hereafter,

I will be able to enjoy its eternity in post mortem,

With a serene and peaceful joie de vivre stratagem.

But if life's here and now is its real and only eternity,

There is no reason, nor time for me to suffer self-pity.

For when I arrived in this world and opened my eyes,

I knew not reason, and only had time for hunger cries.

But now reason and time's passing have been blessings for me,

Filled with much laughter, good friends, and a marvellous family.

And so the light at the end of the tunnel that I can now see

Is life's light shining brightly and lighting its way for me.
